The beautiful "Super Worm" full moon rises over Kruger National Park in South Africa on Monday (March 9).

During our safari in the Kruger National Park, we stopped to enjoy a beautiful sunset. Ten minutes later we moved our focus from the west to the east to witness the rise of the Super Worm Moon over the African bush. I grabbed my camera and started filming the super moon that reached its peak fullness while appearing much larger and brighter than a normal full moon. This was a great moment to observe the moon from close up in all its splendor and beauty. The totally illuminated round rock in the sky had us in awe. It was a breath taking moment to watch such a unique full moon rise over the African bush with the sounds of the night coming alive, adding to an unforgettable remote wilderness experience.
