Most yoga practitioners struggle to pull off the Niralamba Poorna Chakrasana - a form of Indian yoga - contortion, but one 10-year-old boy recently managed to do it a whopping 21 times in one minute, setting a new record in northern India.

The event took place at Lucknow on December 16, 2019.

Ujjwal Vishwakarma stunned the crowd with his astonishing flexibility and speed, performing the vigorous Niralamba Poorna Chakrasana yoga position 21 times in one minute.

He started doing yoga at just six, is so flexible that he can bend his body backwards.

He says yoga had helped him to develop a sharp and healthy mind.

Ujjwal's father who makes around 200 rupees a day, said, "I feel sorry for not being able to support my son's studies or his extracurricular activities with my paltry income.

"I somehow manage to make ends meet.

"Had it not been for the yoga teacher, nobody would ever know about the talent of my children. I hope that he makes us proud someday."

He is an awardee to several international accolades such as the Yoga world record and the Golden book of world record.

He also won the Open World Championship at Shimla in 2018.
