Whilst the skies are more quiet during the COVID-19 crisis, the Royal Airforce have been practising 'Touch and Go' landings at British airports.

This A400M Atlas aircraft took off from Brize Norton just before 9am and flew up to Glasgow Prestwick International Airport.

It did several 'laps' of the runway before making its way south towards Birmingham Airport.

The plane flew along the normal fight path of many, now grounded, passenger planes, then did a loop and did a second touch and go before heading back to RAF Brize Norton where it is based.

The RAF stated the landings are not connected to coronavirus.

Close by is the National Exhibition Centre which has been converted into the UK's second Nightingale Hospital, an overflow location to deal with coronavirus patients.
