KLM airplanes parked away next to landing strip 'Aalsmeerbaan', and KLM-hangars on Amsterdam international airport, after the Dutch airliner had it's 200 commercial planes grounded due to COVID-19. This footage was shot earlier this month (April 10). Today news got out the Dutch government will support KLM with grants and loans of 2 to 4 billion Euro's, to help the Dutch airliner survive the coronavirus crisis. 35.000 people work for KLM. The Dutch government will set strict conditions for the support. Salaries of personnel will be limited, including in top positions, bonuses won't be given, shareholders won't get dividend. And environmental requirements will be set.
