Firefighters rescue cow that fell into 100-foot-deep well in India
A cow that accidentally fell into a 100-foot-deep well was rescued by firefighters in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The incident took place in Edappadi of Salem district on July 13.
Firefighters got into the well, tied up the cow and pulled it up using thick ropes.
According to reports, villagers called firefighters after noticing the cow had descended into the well. Firefighters immediately rushed to the spot and rescued the cattle.
The owner of the cow took it away uninjured, as there was water in the well, and the cow was floating till it was rescued.
