Two passersby bravely rescued a woman who fell into a flooded pit in northern China.

In the CCTV footage captured in Xinyang city, a woman suddenly fell into a flooded pit while riding a bicycle. The pit was so deep that only her head was above the water. The woman was struggling desperately and was seen by two passersby, who together grabbed the woman and pulled her out of the pit.

At the same time, a man across the road rushed to rescue the woman as well. He ran so fast that both his shoes fell off and were washed away by the water. Seeing the woman rescued, the man returned to the road to pick up his shoes and left.

It’s reported that the heavy rain caused the flood in the road area.
