This dad in Brezno, central Slovakia, documented his son's impressive mountain biking progress from when he was 2-years-old to 5.

Peter Pech has been recording clips of his son's biking ability over a three year period and has stitched them together.

The now 5-year-old boy, named after his dad, started off on a balance bike and then moved onto his own mountain bike which he expertly uses to navigate tricky forest paths.

The proud dad wrote on Reddit: "From my experience forcing him to do anything never worked. It has to be fun and he has to be excited to do it. We started very early and he was on his balance bike pretty much daily, regardless of the weather.

"It's not a competition, there isn't any age set, when the kids have to bike well. Also all kids have different hobbies. Don't beat yourself up for it.

"My kids generally copy what I do and want to do it too. I bike a lot, he wants to bike, I go fishing, he wants to go fishing too."
