An alleged drunk man was run over by a car as he laid on a road in southwestern China.

The CCTV video, filmed in the county of Jinsha in Guizhou Province on September 17, shows a man named Yu walk into the middle of a road in the rain, and then laying down on the ground after having more than 0.5kg of Chinese liquor.

However, a car driving past the area ran over Yu, as the driver did not see him.

Since the driver felt his car go over a bump, he stopped to check and spotted Yu. He then called the police and ambulance.

According to reports, Yu was 'not in a good mood' and drank some Chinese liquor alone in a restaurant.

Fortunately, Yu only suffered minor injuries.

所幸只受轻伤。

当天凌晨4时9分左右，天下着大雨，金沙县公安局交警大队接到报警称，在金沙鼓场街道东南环线移动公司路段，发生一起小轿车撞伤行人的交通事故，请求出警。接到报警后，执勤交警赶赴现场， 到现场后得知伤者已被送往医院。

经调查，9月16日下午，余某因“心情不好”一人在金沙县城关东南环线移动公司对面的小饭馆吃饭，吃饭期间一个人喝了一斤多用枸杞泡的白酒，9月17日凌晨4时2分，余某走到金沙县鼓场街道东南环线路段，因不胜酒力， 4时5分仰面倒在马路上，此时，陈某驾驶贵FDEXXX号小型轿车回家，行驶到该路段时，从余某身上“驶”过，当时感觉车身颠簸一下，陈某立即停车查看，看见正坐在马路上的余某，立即拨打120并报了警，120急救车到来，将其送到中医院进行救治，经医院诊断，余某受轻微伤。
此次道路交通事故，经金沙县公安局交警大队现场查勘，调查取证，认定此次事故系余某违反《中华人民共和国道路交通安全法实施条例》第七十四条第一款第（二）项“行人不得在车道内坐卧、停留、嬉闹”之规定，陈某违反《中华人民共和国道路交通安全法》第二十二条第一款“机动车驾驶人应当遵守道路交通安全法律、法规的规定，按照操作规范安全驾驶、文明驾驶”之规定。金沙县公安局交警大队认定余某及陈某承担此次事故的同等责任。（视频由贵州台提供）
