Controlled demolition of old bridge on highway in north India
An old bridge which was becoming a threat for a daily commuters on a route was demolished on 20th October . Dhaneli bridge on Raipur – Bilaspur highway in Chattisgarh was demolished by Drilling a blasting engineers . DBE Engineers used Control blasting system to demolish the bridge . This bridge was constructed 10 years back , but the surface of the bridge was not found appropriate for traffic in a survey . The movement of traffic was stopped 3 years back . Now a new bridge will be constructed on the same place .
