A thief used poisoned duck meat to steal a dog on a street in southern China.

In the video filmed at midnight, five watchdogs were playing at the entrance of a factory building in Foshan City, Guangdong Province.

A motorcyclist drove over and dropped some duck meat and drove away. Several dogs smelled the scent of meat and came to eat it.

A few minutes later, one of the dogs had a seizure, rolled and twitched, and couldn't move its feet. Then the motorcyclist reappeared, the man came to snatch the dog on the ground and put it in the motorcycle’s trunk.

He then continued to take out the meat and try to feed other dogs. Seeing as the other dogs were not fooled, he picked up the meat he threw on the ground before leaving.

Police have arrested the man and after an investigation, the man wanted to steal dogs and sell them to remote food stalls to make money.

The video was filmed on November 8 and provided by local media.
