Three women looted a jewelry shop in central India's Madhya Pradesh on the evening of December 27.

The incident took place in the Baishakhiya Jewellers store located in Sagar district, looked after by the Kotwali police station.

CCTV footage witnessing the incident features three women stationed across the counter from the salesperson. The shopkeeper shows the women a varied range of gold bangles. The woman sitting on the extreme right grabs one bangle to inspect it. She then signals her partner sitting beside her and slyly passes the bangle to her while the third woman engages the salesperson in conversation.

The women came to the jewelry store under the pretext of shopping and robbed the store of gold bangles. Upon realizing that the bangles were missing, the shop owner registered a case with the Kotwali police station, Sagar. However, by then, the women had fled the scene.

A team of police officers reached the spot and began searching for the women based on the CCTV footage. The region has been barricaded while the bus and railway stations are also being checked out.
