Heavy accumulation of snow has affected the vehicular movement in the region, and the authorities have begun snow clearance operations. The operation is being conducted by a team headed by the Assistant Engineer of the Jammu and Kashmir Mechanical Engineering Department, Tariq Mahmood. However, the weather is predicted to improve significantly from January 6 onwards.
