Officials clear up snowfall on highway in northern India
Officials of the Border Roads Organisation were engaged in clearing the snowfall on the Sonamarg - Zojila pass in northern India's Jammu and Kashmir.
The incident took place on December 29.
Visuals showed the whole highway enveloped in a thick blanket of snow as the officials travelled through the area with the help of a tank-like vehicle.
They also used an excavator-like vehicle to clear out the snow. The snow from the highway was sprayed away by the vehicle towards the side of the road in an attempt to clear the path.
