This is the shocking moment a bus crashed into a second bus and a row of parked cars after making a tight turn.

The white bus was turning right into the car park while a blue bus was waiting to pull out in Bangkok, Thailand, on January 9.

The blue bus stopped to let the white bus make the turn, but the space was too tight so the two huge vehicles brushed up against each other.

Bizarrely, the bus driver did not stop the vehicle even after the collision and continued on driving.

The bus headed straight for the parking space and slammed four cars before terrified onlookers were seen fleeing.

Police arrived at the scene to interview witnesses and invited the driver to the station.

One of the officers said the driver will have to be checked for drug use as well as the vehicle to point out the cause of the collision.

He said: ‘We have to know whether the bus driver is under the influence of drugs. The bus will also be sent to a mechanic to know if it malfunctioned.’

Witnesses said there had been several collisions in the ‘accident-prone’ area.

One local said: ‘Before this incident happened, another bus at the same road collided with an electric pole before swerving onto other parked cars.’

The CCTV footage was submitted to the officers to use as evidence while investigations are ongoing.
