An excited 10-year-old boy showed off his kung fu movements at his school gate as winter holidays started in southern China.

The video, captured in the city of Yongzhou in Hunan Province on January 21, shows the boy performing toad-style kung fu in front of his school gate while other pupils clap for him.

According to the boy's teacher, the boy loved martial arts and practiced it for over a year. Since it was the last day in school before the winter holidays, the boy got excited and showed off the toad-style kung fu he just learnt.
