Level of the river Thames continues to rise in Sonning, Berkshire, after heavy rain
Parts of Berkshire have been hit by flooding after heavy rain caused rivers to burst their banks.
Footage filmed in the village of Sonning shows rising levels of the river Thames.
The filmer told Newsflare: "The height of the river is much higher than normal and it has a strong current. The B478 through Sonning is closed due to the flooding.
"Torrential rain fell in Berkshire earlier today which will exacerbate the situation. The gardens in some some riverside homes and restaurants are also flooded."
