The burst banks from the River Thames at Windsor and flooded the Jennings Wharf footpath next to the Sir Christopher Wren Hotel on the Windsor side of the river in England on February 5.

The river is running fast and much higher than normal, according to reports.

The Cote Brasserie in Eton have boarded up the doors to their restaurant that are near to the River Thames and placed sandbags there too. A Flood Alert remains in place for the River Thames at Eton and Windsor. The Jubilee River Flood Alleviation Scheme is operational which should prevent property flooding
