The largest waterfall on the Yellow River has started to flow again as the ice thaws due to warmer weather in China.

The spectacular video, filmed in the city of Linfen in Shanxi Province on February 19, shows the frozen Hukou waterfall beginning to thaw with water flowing down.

According to reports, the scenic spot organised people to repair the facilities damaged by the ice and clean up the mud to prepare for reopening.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
