'This beautiful drone footage perfectly captures the breathtaking scenery that formed after the Geldingadalir volcano eruption.

Recorded by Jan Horak on March 23, 2021, this clip highlights the aforementioned volcano that first erupted on March 19, 2021, and soon became a tourist attraction site.

The filmer was able to document the volcano spewing lava into the sky and down the mountain. Additionally, a stunning view of the crater captured from right over it is also present in this footage.

Jan wrote: "I took this video in Iceland where I've been living for 3 years now. The volcano eruption happened near Reykjavik. Prior to this eruption, several earthquakes had been impacting the nearby areas."
