'This epic drone footage shows the erupting mount Fagradalsfjall in all its glory.

Stunning clips of lava being spewed in the air and flowing down the mountain, melting the rocks in its path, can be seen in this video.

The filmer, Kevin Pages, had this to say to us: "I couldn’t wait any longer to show this video I shot on March 20. I made sure to capture some close-up shots of the lava coming out of the main crater."

The recent eruption has been all over the news since it was the first time Reykjanes Peninsula witnessed an explosive activity of this magnitude in 800 years.
