This clip shows the May Day demonstration in Paris turning violent as "radical elements" join the crowd.

Union workers belonging to the General Confederation of Labour (CGT), were brutally attacked during the event held on May 1.

The footage shows a middle-aged man fainting after being punched in the head, violent protesters throwing stones, smashing windows, and ATMs, as well as a woman crying on the ground after being attacked.

A police source told AFP that far-left "black block" repeatedly tried to boycott the event.

The french labours day has lived clashes with the police once again. The usual main road was filled with teargas. One of the biggest workers union (CGT) has also been caught in the wrath of the black block, and are accused of collaborating with the government. They are called "the placebo effect". A security of the workers union got knocked-out , the giant inflatable baloons got torn off of the trucks.
