The Railway Protection Force (RPF) officials saved a pregnant woman and her two-year-old child after they fell on the platform in western India's Maharashtra on May 3. The incident took place at the Dadar Railway Station, located in Mumbai.

CCTV footage features a train leaving the station. Within moments, a pregnant woman, along with her infant, attempts to board the moving locomotive. Following this, she loses her balance and falls onto the platform. Upon noticing this, the vigilant railway security personnel rush to her rescue and tend to her.

The woman, identified as Shobha Kumari, was carrying her luggage in one hand and her child in another when the incident unfolded. She arrived late at the station and was boarding the Danapur Special from platform number five when she fell.

An alert official, identified as Ashok Yadav, rushed to save the woman and pulled her to safety. Later, other personnel also reached the spot and prevented Shobha and her child from sliding into the gap between the moving train and the platform and averted a major accident.
