A lady passenger slipped while boarding the train, almost sliding underneath it in eastern India’s West Bengal on August 21. The incident took place in Asansol.

CCTV footage features the train departing from the station and security guarding the area. Following this, a woman, in a bid to catch the locomotive, falls after losing balance. Panic grips her as she gets stuck between the platform and the train. However, alert railway security officials spot her in time and rush to her aid. Grabbing her by the hand, they pull her to safety.

In the life-saving act, the on-duty Railway Protection Force (RPF) Dog squad identified as Assistant Sub-inspector (ASI) S.K Singh and HC B.B.Mahato showed their presence of mind and rescued the woman who fell while trying to board a moving train.
