A major fire broke out in a plastic factory during the early hours of the day in central India's Madhya Pradesh on May 26. The incident took place in Katni.

A video features enormous flames scaling from the factory in broad daylight. Following this, plumes of thick smoke emanating from the place begin to rise and envelop the entire sky. Moreover, an excavator dismantles the wall of the factory while the fire tenders douse the blaze through the hole. Meanwhile, the police officials take stock of the situation.

Around five in the morning, the owner was informed that a fire began to erupt from a plastic and crockery factory named Anand Factory. Following this, the owner contacted the fire department, after which at least 10 fire tenders rushed to the spot to extinguish the blaze. Meanwhile, the district police reached the spot to ascertain the cause of the incident.

However, the fire tenders could not control the fire as it is still emanating from the factory premises. Meanwhile, an excavator smashed the building's wall to douse the fire through it. Moreover, efforts to put out the fire are still in motion while the owner of the factory, Palash Kevlani, incurred a loss of over Rs. 70 lakh (USD 96,242).
