A vicious leopard out on a prowl got captured in central India's Madhya Pradesh on June 27. The incident took place in Nepanagar in the Burhanpur district.

Visuals feature the terrified leopard getting restless inside the cage while the onlookers catch a glimpse of the creature sitting beside its meal. Following this, the rescuers restrain its movement and secure sheets around the cage while the big cat attempts to sprint and free itself from the confinement. However, the officials depart from the bushes as a huge crowd gathers to behold the occurrence.

Panic ensued among the locals when they spotted the ferocious leopard looking for food in Adarsh Colony and nearby residential areas. Following this, the forest officials were alerted, and they placed a cage with the carcass of a stray dog to lure the big cat inside it.

After a couple of days, the leopard lurking in the area spotted the potential snack inside the crate and leaped on it, confining itself inside the cage. Following this, the officials covered the cage with a sheet as locals were gathering to catch a glimpse of the mammal, creating commotion and terrorizing the animal. Nevertheless, the leopard was rescued and will be released into the protected forest area after ensuring its well-being.
