Cal Fire responded to a single vehicle traffic collision vs a hydrant and a structure. Arriving crews located a sheared hydrant with a large geyser hitting live power lines and a white sedan that crashed through a gate and landed in the yard of a business. At least three occupants were in the vehicle when the crash occurred. All three were transported to local hospitals with two patients suffering moderate injuries and one in critical condition. The cause of the collision is unknown at this time and under investigation. It's unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash. Edison was called at the scene to de-energize the power lines which were being hit by a copious amount of water spraying from the sheared hydrant which was also causing major flooding to the roadway.
