World-famous Flying Scotsman steam locomotive passes through Woodlesford, Leeds

The Flying Scotsman locomotive was seen hauling passengers across the country this morning (July 24).

It took passengers from Derby to Carlisle, and was seen in Woodlesford near Leeds, West Yorkshire.

It's a LNER Class A3 Pacific steam train that was built in 1923. It was restored back in 2016 ready to take passengers around the UK during the summer months.

The Flying Scotsman was also the first steam train to reach 100mph on the 30th November 1934.
