Train station swamped by floodwater after heavy rains hit southern China
A train station was submerged by deep floodwater after a heavy rainstorm hit southern China.
The video, filmed in the city of Guangzhou in Guangdong Province on July 30, shows rainfall running into the Shenzhou Station of Guangzhou Metro Line 21.
Another video shows firefighters arriving to clean up the floodwater and seal a hole to stop water from leaking into the station.
According to reports, a wall that was under construction collapsed due to the heavy rainstorm, causing the water to run into the station.
No one was injured, reports said.
