Clips filming flooding in Taiwan show why scooters and water don't mix, especially when their old road rivals cars are involved.

In one clip from Taiwan on 4 June a car drives through a flooded street lined with motorbikes. Amazingly it makes it through, but causes a wave that knocks over almost all the bikes, submerging them in the floodwaters.

The driver does not appear to stop and put the bikes back up after causing this trail of destruction. Would you consider that a hit and run?

Another clip, filmed by dashcam on 29 May moped riders are seen being totally drenched by cars driving through partially flooded streets in Nantou County.

Incredibly, they are not knocked over by the force of the water but it's hard to believe their raincoats kept them dry after their soakings.

Would you consider this a hit and run? The streets are flooded and cars still need to get through, but there's a bunch of moped's all parked up on the sied of the road. A car attempts to pass through the flooded street and it brings a wave of water with it which knocks over several of the parked moped's likely causing them flood damage (if they didn't have it already).
