Residents formed a human ladder outside a building to rescue two girls trapped in a burning second-floor flat in southern China.

The heroic video, filmed in the city of Yongzhou in Hunan Province on August 5, shows six men climbing onto the outer wall of a residential building and then transporting a 4-year-old and a 6-year-old out of the second-floor flat.

According to reports, the two girls played a lighter which caused the fire when they were left home alone by their mum.

After firefighters arrived, they put out the fire in around 12 minutes.

The two girls were saved successfully.

近日（8月5日），湖南永州新田县中山街道陶然街一居民楼三楼起火。
出警的永州消防救援支队新田大队马路消防站易站长回忆，当他们接到报警赶来时，一个由6名男子搭建的人梯已经纵观一楼至三楼的外墙上。
当时房间内温度较高但没有明火，阳台外有浓烟冒出，两名女童因此躲在阳台上。“一个四岁，一个六岁。起火的原因是在家里玩打火机，家里当时没有大人。”
消防队拍下的视频显示，六名男子在无任何防护措施的情况下手脚并用，站在一至三楼防盗窗和遮雨棚上，形成一道“人梯”。

他们剪断防盗窗上的锁，打开防盗窗锁后，蓝衣男子将女童抱出，再顺着“人梯”依次往下传送。消防员一边搭梯子配合邻居将两名女童救下，一边开始组织灭火。
易站长说，“灭火的过程大概十几分钟，我们救援的时候她（指女童）妈妈回来了。”
由于急着组织灭火，消防队没来得及留下几位搭“人梯”邻居的联系方式，六位“无名大哥”也很快离开了现场。
女童母亲对消防员称，自己当时出门办事，留两个女儿在家。“邻居打电话说我家着火了，我赶回来看到女儿就在阳台，吓得脚都软了！”经过邻居们和消防员合力营救，女童终于稳稳“着陆”，脱离了危险。

8月19日，记者通过多种途径尝试找到他们，遗憾未果。
