Storm Henri with 75 miles per hour winds slams into New York City, with this footage from August 22 showing the downpour on August 22.

The Hurricane Henri with about 75 mph. wind with dangerous storm surge and flooding around New York has caused heavy rainfall at The Times Square and water leakage at Times Square 42nd street subway station. The leakage is affecting the flow of few passengers to board the train and a make shift buckets are placed to contain the rainfall water which has manage to spread around part of the subway station. Yellow tapes are used to prevent passengers from slipping. New Yorkers and tourists are using their ponchos, umbrellas and raincoats. The Mayor of New York City, Bill de Blasio has declared a state of emergency. The Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo and the Mayor asked people to stay at home except for essential things and urged motorists to avoid travel due to difficult roads.
