Public appearance by the Yorkshire Air Ambulance at a hot air balloon event in York,UK
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance made a public appearance during a hot air balloon festival yesterday (29th August)
The Airbus Eurocopter H145 helicopter owned by Yorkshire Air Ambulance charity, landed at Knavesmire racecourse, just outside York City Centre in North Yorkshire. Thankfully the appearance was scheduled and was part of the Yorkshire Balloon Fiesta event, so wasn't there for any casualties. The crew got a mention as they took off by 'The Lancashire Hotpots' who were performing on stage at the event at the time of take off.
