Delivery guys do the rounds as home gas price hiked for second time in 15 days in India

The price of gas for cooking has been hiked by 25 rupees ($0.34) by the government for the second time in 15 days in India.

After the hike, a 14.2 kilogram liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders for domestic use will cost Rs 884.50 ($12.11) in Delhi. LPG cylinder rates have increased by similar amount in other parts of the country.

Video showed sellers delivering gas cylinders to homes in Patna, India.

Some political parties are demanding that the increases, which have affected poorer families particularly hard, be rolled back.
