A nasty car accident was caught on camera in Saint Petersburg, Russia in April 2018.

Dramatic footage recorded on the filmer's dashcam shows a car running straight into a light pole and knocking it down in the middle of a busy road.

The filmer shared: "So, I was on my way to work. A careless driver decided to overtake the truck without looking in the side mirror; unfortunately, the other driver had no choice but to turn left and collide with the light pole, completely demolishing it as a result."

The filmer added that the worst part about the incident in question was how the driver involved in the crash had to pay the price for someone else's recklessness.
