A shocking video has emerged from China of a truck hitting a scooter and flipping onto its side, only for the driver to nearly get hit by another vehicle while he was waiting for a tow truck.

In the footage, caught on CCTV in Zhejiang Province at the beginning of the month, the truck rolls after hitting the scooter, and while the driver is waiting by the side of the road he is almost hit again by another vehicle. That van then flips onto its side too.

The initial crash allegedly happened because the truck driver ran a red light.

Somehow, the woman and the young boy on the scooter were not hurt and the drivers of the other vehicles escaped serious injury.

A series of crash was captured on security cameras in eastern China after a fully-loaded truck jumped a red light.

In the CCTV footage, captured in Zhejiang Province earlier this month, the truck can be seen flipping over in the middle of a road crossing when it tries to avoid a scooter carrying a woman and a boy who then luckily walk away without injuries.

However, when the truck driver and its passenger wait outside for a tow truck, another truck comes over and drags them into the roadside bush before turning over on the ground itself.

According to local media, the first truck was crossing against the red light when it crashed into the scooter. The second truck failed to bypass the accident ahead as other vehicles blocked the scene.

Fortunately all people escaped serious injuries.
