Stourton Park & Ride in Leeds,West Yorkshire, opened to the public on 6th September with an official opening on Thursday 16th September by the Minister for future transport & environment Rachel Mclean along with West Yorkshire Mayor Tracy Brabin.
The new park & ride boasts to be the first fully solar powered park & ride in the UK. The buses are zero emission electric type and a trip in to Leeds City Centre, takes less than 15 minutes. Construction of the park & ride began in 2019.
