Residents rescued a girl hanging from a third-floor window in southwestern China.

The heroic video filmed in Zhenxiong County in Yunnan Province on September 18 shows a girl hanging from a third-floor window as she got her head stuck in the security bars.

Residents were seen holding a quilt under the building in case the girl fell down.

A man was seen tied by a bedsheet and lowered down to the girl from the building's roof while other neighbours broke into the flat and opened the window to rescue the girl at the same time.

The girl was later brought back into the flat successfully.

According to reports, the girl accidentally fell down onto the security bars when she was left at home alone as her grandmother went to send another child to school.

The girl was sent to hospital after being rescued. Fortunately, she was not injured seriously.

9月18日， 云南镇雄。一名小女孩在家人送另一个孩子去上学，不慎跌落防盗网，头卡防盗网上，身子悬在半空中。危急时刻邻居们出手了，他们有人在楼下扯开被子，预防小女孩儿坠落。有人用床单结成绳索，从楼顶救援，还有人从室内施救。最终救下了这个孩子。
记者闻采访获悉，此事发生在云南镇雄县新村小区。目击者张先生告诉记者，他于9月18日早上路过新村小区，看到有个小孩悬在空中，头部被卡在防盗网上身体悬空，小孩还在不停哭喊。张先生称，他看到有多人在小孩的正下方，撑起了床单，以防小孩坠地。
另一位目击者范女士告诉记者，她住在这家人的隔壁那栋楼，18日早上，小孩的奶奶送另一个孙子去上学了，结果这个小孩不小心跌落在防盗窗。范女士称，当时看到这一幕觉得非常揪心，邻居们赶紧救援，多位邻居迅速赶到楼顶处，把床单系成安全结，多人牵着床单的一头，一位男子绑着床单在腰间，当他靠近小孩被困的地方时，邻居破门而入，从防盗窗内将小孩成功救起。
范女士称，小孩被救下来后，可能因为被挂着时间有点长，腮帮子有点小问题，被120急救车拉去医院了，万幸的是，小孩并无大碍。（视频由云南台提供）
