Brave man rescues elderly woman hanging from first-floor balcony in China
A man rescued an elderly woman hanging from the first-floor balcony of a residential building in southern China.
Video captured in the city of Shaowu in Fujian Province on October 20 shows a man climbing up a residential building and helping the elderly woman get back to safety.
According to reports, the elderly woman is a resident in the second floor flat. Since she locked herself in the balcony when hanging the clothes, she tried to climb down to the ground floor but got trapped outside the first floor.
The man who worked in a nearby car repair shop spotted the incident and saved the woman.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
