Massive traffic jam clogs expressway in Malaysia
Hundreds of cars were caught in a traffic jam during rush hour on an expressway in Malaysia.
Onlooker Mohammed Hesham filmed the bottleneck outside his apartment window at the Sungai Besi toll plaza in the capital Kuala Lumpur on November 1. Both lanes were filled with cars in bumper to bumper traffic as they waited to get past the toll.
He said: ‘It’s the first time I’ve seen that many cars stuck in one place.’
The congestion reportedly started late in the afternoon and lasted for several hours.
