Bizarre ‘alien worms’ form wriggling mass in Thailand
This is the bizarre moment dozens of weird "alien worms" converged and formed a single writhing mass in Thailand.
Footage shows the worms, which are actually fungus gnat larvae, crawling on the ground in Loei province. They piled on top of each other, appearing to merge into one creature with many undulating parts.
The larvae migrate are known to migrate in groups when the eggs hatch near each other. The adult gnats are not harmful to humans and instead feed on fungi which usually grow from overwatered houseplants.
