Wildlife strayed into a classroom after appearing out of its natural habitat, causing a stir in northern India's Uttar Pradesh on December 1. The incident took place in the Aligarh district.

Visuals feature the leopard strolling inside the classroom in broad daylight, leading to a horrific scene as it continues to glance at its surroundings while taking a tour of the campus. After a while, it sits in between the chairs while taking a look at the room, causing a stir in the environment. However, the forest officials reach and begin to monitor its movement before tranquilizing it. Following this, they secure a net around the animal and safely evacuate the campus to avoid any tragedy.

The fully grown leopard entered the classroom and attacked a 15-year-old student, identified as Lakhiraj Singh, at Chaudhary Nihal Singh Inter College under the Chharra police station area in the Aligarh district, who sustained injuries. As the news of the leopard straying into the classroom spread, it caused a stampede-like situation on the campus while the forest officials and the local police were alerted.

Besides, the big cat was confined on the campus, and all students were asked to leave and return home while the animal was rescued with the help of the forest officials under the guidance of Aligarh District Forest Officer, Diwakar Kumar Vashisth, after monitoring the movement of the leopard through CCTV cameras installed in the premises. Nevertheless, the rescue operation went on for about nine hours on the campus.
