Several determined locals were seen attempting to walk against the strong winds generated by Storm Eunice in Narrowcliff, Cornwall.

Footage from February 18 shows one woman forced to the floor as she failed to stay on her feet when walking against the wind.

Another woman then tries her luck but is blown back to her original position.

Fire and Rescue teams were also on point to rescue anyone in trouble caused by the wind.
