Storm Barney hits the coast
Storm watches flocked to the coast to see the heavy winds and large waves hitting the cliffs. Strong swells thundered in to the Cornish cove of Porthcurno, soaking some onlookers. Surfers were not deterred by the Force 8 gale and high seas though, taking on the breakers while most people sought warmth and shelter.
