A cat and a weasel can actually be friends, even playing like they are brothers.

Footage shows a cat playing with a weasel inside its owner's house.

Mastipal, the pet's owner, said the kitten, named Moka, was five months old, and the weasel, named Mario.

The cat has been kept with its mother for a long time, while the weasel is rescued from the school where Mastipal's wife teaches.

According to Mastipal, the weasel suspected of getting lost when it found and caught by students in a high school classroom in Bukittinggi.

His wife, who felt sorry for the weasel, contacted him to pick it up.

"I brought the weasel home to be cared for. Then I put it in a cage for two days. After that I tried to let him play in the house, and it friendly with my kitten,” Mastipal said.

At first Mastipal thought his cat would run away when he met the weasel, but they turned out to be friends.
