Witnesses say the 78-year-old abandoned stadium was burnt to the ground.

Writing online about the footage, the filmer said: “I received a call around 5:45 pm on Monday. I saw the smoke from my window, hundreds of feet in the air so I ran upstairs and grabbed my drone. I flew Mookie (drone name) up in the air and as I saw the live feed on my phone, I knew this wasn't just a fire. This was Historic Civic Stadium burning down to the ground. As I watch 8 blocks back from my screen I was blown away from what I was capturing.”
