A woman selling street food defends her cart during a storm in Indonesia.

Footage filmed in Rantauprapat, Labuhanbatu district, North Sumatra province, on April 9, shows strong winds accompanied by rain shifting the cart several meters.

The woman held her cart while others sought refuge in nearby shops. A resident tried to help, but the wind was blowing harder and knocking the cart over.

Another footage from across the street shows wind getting stronger, blowing the goods of other street vendors.

Muhammad Ali, an eye witness who filmed the footage, said that there were no casualties due to strong winds accompanied by rain that afternoon.

“At that time the streets were busy with street vendors selling food to break their fast. Strong winds made the carts overturn and the tents flew away,” Ali added.

After the video went viral, the woman who owned the cart and several other street vendors who suffered material losses received donations from some concerned people.
