A doctor based in Vinh, Vietnam, removed a giant tick that had been living in a patient's ear for a month.

According to the medical worker, the patient had complained about pain and bleeding in his ear.

Upon inspection, the doctor found a giant mite sucking blood from inside the patient's ear.

The doctor said the man came to the hospital with pain, itching and bleeding in his ear. He said this has been going on for about a month and recently his ear hurt so much that he couldn't stand it and went to the hospital.
The doctor performed an endoscopy on his ear and was surprised to find a giant mite sucking blood in the man's ear. The tick was very big and it blocked the man's ear canal,
The doctor then proceeded to pick and remove the tick from the man's ear.
The man was surprised when he saw the tick on the endoscope screen. He didn't know how it got into his ear.
The doctor said it is possible that the tick had crawled into the man's ear while he was sleeping or the tick had attached to the man's shirt and crawled into the ear.
The doctor said the man needed several days for treatment.
