A man, woman and a child avoided a serious accident as a speeding water tank on a tractor overturned near them in central India's Madhya Pradesh.

The incident happened on the afternoon of May 8, Sunday, where a water tank is seen turning upside down within inches of a family standing at the Shahgarh bus stand, in Sagar district, when the speeding tracker carrying it lost control.

CCTV footage captured the whole incident where the three people are seen barely escaping an accident as all the water spilled out from the tanker.

Locals immediately rushed to the spot to check on the family and the vehicle.

It was reported that the locals also assisted in picking up the tanker and getting it started off.
