Video shows the Kalush Orchestra and the Ukrainian delegation that won Eurovision this year returning to Krakovets, Ukraine, near the Polish border on May 16. The musicians had special permission to leave the country. When the competition ended, the artists, as promised, returned.

On July 25, it was announced that the UK will host the Eurovision Song Contest in 2023 after organizers decided it could not be held in the winning country due to the ongoing war.

"We, in turn, will make all efforts to help Ukraine win next year as well, so that Eurovision 2024 can take place in a peaceful country," said Oleh Psiuk, the lead singer of the group.

In the video filmed on May 16 in Ukraine, the winners of Eurovision 2022 were greeted with joy. First, the Kalush Orchestra sang the song Stefania with the border guards, and later with the youth of Yavorovo. Artists were congratulated, given flowers, and took photos with fans and well-wishers.

After the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, the participants plan to continue volunteering upon their return to Ukraine. And the cup of the winner of Eurovision-2022 Kalush Orchestra will give for sale at a charity auction. The collected funds will be sent to the humanitarian needs of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition, the musicians plan to continue to travel around the countries and talk about the war in Ukraine.

"The plans are to develop further. First of all, it is to help Ukraine raise funds, travel around the world and talk about the war in Ukraine, because, in my opinion, the cultural front is no less important than the military one. And it should remind the whole world and unite the whole world," said the director of the group.
