A father in Indonesia noticed his son getting close to a snake and decided to capture it so he could teach his family how to behave and appreciate them, seen in Bukittinggi, West Sumatra Province, on Monday (June 27).

"This is the first time I caught a snake. I did it on purpose to introduce non-venomous snakes to my family, and how to love them," Wahyu Lelo, the father said.

"The snake's body feels soft and weak. The snake bit my right hand until it bled. The bite felt like a rose thorn. Referred to as an intimate kiss, a sign of introduction," Lelo continued "As amused by the mucus and not wanting to hurt the snake for too long, I released the snake into the bush, while cleaning the wound on my hand and applying wound medicine."
